Hello my lovelies, Well we have reached a whole new month, can you believe that we are in April already? My, goodness! Where is the year going? So the start of a new month can only mean one thing; a brand new ‘Book of The Month’ – Yes, I know as always, I am a few days late, but I think people expect that of me now. Any way enough of me brining to attention my tardiness you want to know what book I have picked to feature for April.

The book I have chosen for April is one of my whole time favourites, really I absolutely adore this book! From the moment I saw the cover, I was completely in love with it. This particular book is far, far more than just an beautiful cover. The story within is one which really pulls at your heartstrings. Set during an era that we see so little of in Historical Romance and we really do need more from WW1 in Historical Romance. This book really spoke to me, even more so as this is an era which is so very close to my heart. This book is so beautiful, poignant, astonishingly touching and will definitely have you falling in love with the lead character’s. But, what is it?

Ok, Chicks, Rogues and Scandals April ‘Book of the Month’ is….

The Captain and The Cavalry Trooper

As the Great War tears Europe apart, two men from different worlds find sanctuary in each other’s arms.

Captain Robert Thorne is the fiercest officer in the regiment. Awaiting the command to go to the front, he has no time for simpering, comely lads. That’s until one summer day in 1917, when his dark, flashing eye falls upon the newest recruit at Chateau de Desgravier, a fresh-faced farmer’s boy with little experience of life and a wealth of poetry in his heart.

Trooper Jack Woodvine has a way with strong, difficult stallions, and whispers them to his gentle will. Yet even he has never tamed a creature like Captain Thorne.

With the shadow of the Great War and the scheming of enemies closer to home threatening their fleeting chance at happiness, can the captain and the cavalry trooper make it home safely? More importantly, will they see peacetime together?

The Captivating Captains

Do check out all of The Captivating Captains, this series is amazing and so different to anything you’ve seen before. The beauty of this series is that each book is completely different, and there is something for everyone no matter what you read; whether that be historical, contemporary or paranormal this series has it all and…yes, there is more, This series is the mixture of full length novels and novellas plus more to come…. I said it was a good ‘un 😉

Hello my lovelies, it’s a new month – well sort of – I know I’m late with my ‘Book of The Month’ but this time it isn’t because I’m tardy or because I’m pretty useless at sticking to a schedule. I have had various thing’s going on in my personal life; the latest issue was basically me being terribly clumsy and spilling tea over my laptop keyboard. I know, huge headache over that, but never mind that you really don’t want to be hearing about my woe’s let’s get on with my March Book of the Month.

So, the book I have chosen for March is in no other words but amazing! It’s heartwarming, classy and super cute. The character’s are just wonderful, you can really relate to each of them, you love them instantly and cheer them on as they go on their journey throughout the book. Then you have the cover, which as you will see is adorable and eye-catching! This book as unbelievable as it may sound is the author’s debut – which I found incredible as the writing is flawless, solid and stylish. But, what is it?

Without further ado, my Book of the Month is…

How To Bake A New Begining

Three sisters. One trip to Italy.

The chance to change their lives.

Amanda has always taken the role of big sister seriously. She has her life in order; a fantastic job in a great restaurant, a wonderful house and a best friend who’s a Rockstar. But, Amanda’s beginning to realise that her life is missing one monumental piece…

Sabrina is living the high life in LA. Her Instagram is full of lavish parties, her tweets are brimming with celebrity names, but in reality she’s stuck behind a desk working for a boss who is determined to make her suffer. Is it time for her to stand up and take charge of her life?

Louisa has always been drowned out by her sister’s successes. As the university drop-out she’s always felt third best. But a chance encounter in a little Italian village may be about to change that…

When their beloved grandfather passes away these sisters are forced to take another look at their lives. These three sisters are about to embark on a journey of self-discovery that could just lead them down a road of romance (with a little help from the kitchen)!

How much do I love this guy? The heroine is such a brilliant woman, feisty and intelligent – plus there is a dog, you know me if the hero has a dog then I’m hooked, so here it is…
