Hello Sunshines! I have the huge pleasure to be sharing my review of; Beach Hut Surprise; Holiday Reads From Little Piddling. this book is such a fun and quirky collection and I hope you love them as much as I do!
First off, I had scheduled this post for last week – like several other posts – but for the past few days I have been experiencing some terrible wifi problems, one day it will work the next it won’t and when it does work it can take about an hour to actually post anything…arrgghhh!!! Anyway, yet again I am having to play catch up on posting reviews and blog tours, all of which have been written and ready to go, touchwood the dreaded wifi box holds out (I can see that little box being thrown out of the window at some point 😉 )

Review
Firstly, I have to say I couldn’t read this without giggling like a deranged hyena every time I read the words ‘Little Piddling‘ I’d start (honestly it doesn’t take much to have me in a fit of giggles, in the last job I was known as smiler or the giggler) which resulted in some odd glances from the family, but I can’t help it, it just struck a funny bone, even now I am smiling. Which is exactly what we all need in this weird world, a good few minutes of good-natured giggles.
This is such a marvellous collection of six enjoyable, fun, romantic, surprising and very different novellas, each written by six authors who are all at the top of their game in the genres they each write in. Each story is different, not just with the story but the genre, era and off-course style, but each one complimented the other and made for To be perfectly honest before reading this I had only read one of the authors in this collection; Sarah Mallory, I adore Sarah’s work and will read anything with her name attached to it, so this was a bonus not only was I reading a much-loved author but also finally getting to read five more amazing authors all of which I will be reading more of in the future.
Little Piddling is a picturesque little town by the sea, on the beachfront, there is a row of beach huts, each with its own story to tell, and each story is as vibrant, chic and charming as the beach huts lining the shore. Reading this is like having a go at those seaside lucky dip tombolas, you know that there are great things in that tombola but you don’t know what you will get or what story you will pull out next. I won’t say too much about each of the stories, as they are so short I wouldn’t wish to give away the slightest spoiler.
This is the perfect lazy day read, just curl up in your favourite chair with a good cuppa and be transported to Little Piddling for some romance, mystery, fun and feel-good charm, I can guarantee that no matter what what you read, you will find something to love in this.
Overall, a charming, sparkling and enjoyable collection!
This was an Arc copy via one of the authors, which I voluntarily reviewed, thank you, Sarah. x
